What Our Customers Say

FAQ

  • Do I need a concrete base for a pizza oven installation?

A solid, level base is essential for any permanent pizza oven installation. Concrete slabs are the most common foundation, but reinforced masonry bases also work well. The base needs to be strong enough to support the combined weight of the oven structure, which can be considerable for full brick builds, and completely level to ensure even heat distribution.

  • How long does it take to install a pizza oven?

Installation time varies depending on the size and style of the oven and whether a new base needs to be constructed. A straightforward installation onto an existing prepared base can be completed in a day, while more involved builds that require groundwork and base preparation may take two to three days from start to finish.

  • Can a pizza oven be installed on an existing deck or patio?

It depends on the structural capacity of the existing surface. Timber decks are generally not suitable without significant reinforcement due to the weight of a brick oven and fire risk. Concrete or tiled patios are far better candidates, provided they are level and structurally sound. A site assessment by an experienced installer will determine suitability before any work begins.
